Designer. Creator.
Lifelong learner.
Hey there! I'm Stephanie. I'm a third-year undergraduate (Class of 2027 grad!) at Dartmouth College studying Cognitive Science, Digital Arts, and Human-Centered Design.
I’m a designer with 2+ years of client project experience, specializing in UX design, user research, and product strategy. I’m currently a product designer at the DALI lab and a design thinking consultant at the Design Initiative at Dartmouth. This past summer, I was an intern at Sony Music Entertainment.

Growing up as an art enthusiast, I was fascinated by all things creative. I experimented with painting, drawing, theater, dance, and creative writing, each one deepening my passion for storytelling. Over the years, I’ve built a diverse background in marketing, studio art, entrepreneurship, stage management, art business, and journalism.
In college, I discovered UX design as the perfect intersection of creativity, storytelling, and problem solving. I’ve since sharpened my skills through coursework, self-led projects, online certifications, and hands-on experiences at the DALI Lab and the Design Initiative.
Born in Vancouver, raised in Shanghai, and now based on the East Coast, I’ve travelled to 40+ countries and draw inspiration from the people I meet. I care deeply about understanding users not just as humans, but as people with individual stories, experiences, and identities. I love building strong relationships and helping others unlock their creativity.
When I’m not designing, you can find me trying new restaurants, going to concerts, or hiking in the Upper Valley! I also love dancing, reading, sipping matcha, and mood boarding.

Questions?
Things you may be wondering!
Why product design?
Because it lets me blend cognitive science with creativity, solving problems with a human-centered lens while making things beautiful and intuitive!
Do you code?
A little! I started off college as a computer science major, so I know some HTML, CSS, Java, and Python to understand code and empathize with developers.
Where do you find inspiration?
Honestly everywhere. Growing up as an art appreciator through many different mediums, I'm always creatively inspired by music, museums, theater, storefronts, menu design, and more!
What's your go-to coffee order?
An iced americano with a splash of oat milk for the mornings, an iced matcha for an afternoon pick me up, and occasionally if I'm at a fun cafe, anything with coconut!
